Artist Statement
I am interested in the way that photography and memory interact. Using the family album as my starting point I return to my childhood knitting together alternate views to produce a history which may or may not agree with the ‘reality’ the images portray.

Born, Southampton, England, 1966. Studied Sociology before returning to Staffordshire University to complete a Photography degree as a mature student. She began working at IRIS in 2004 and since then has divided her time between research, teaching and her own practice.
