Resourceful Women

This early exhibition, curated by IRIS consists of a representative selection of the original work submitted to the project's photographic resource. Forty photographers were invited to exhibit their work in the Flaxman Gallery at Staffordshire University. The work was grouped thematically, around such concerns as the family, social history, self-image, sexuality and identity. Whatever the theme or the genre, the exhibition is intended as a celebration of the work of women photographers and as a showcase for the extraordinary range of work being produced.
